The Memorial Service for Jack McKinney will take place in the Hayloft Sanctuary on Saturday, January 17th at 2:00 PM. There will be a reception following this Celebration of the Resurrection in the Well Area.

Brad Moger, Pastor to Youth, will be officially, ordained by the New Wineskins Presbytery of he Evangelical Presbyterian Church on Sunday, January 18th, at 4:30 PM in the Hayloft Sanctuary. A reception for Brad will follow in Celebration Hall.

This is an opportunity to start off the New Year together in prayer. All families at Covenant (including families of one) are invited to the Main Barn Building for prayer with Elders and Members of the Prayer Team. Plan to come early to enjoy great refreshments and fellowship in the well area. You may sign up after either worship service. After December 22nd, contact Bob or Barbara Japenga - 658-6102.

The Session is issuing an invitation to open prayer for Wednesday, December17,2008 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Hayloft Sanctuary. There have been several difficult medical situations with Sam Martin and others in the body. This is a regular time of prayer on a weekly basis, but we are encouraging the congregation at large to come at this time.

Join us at 9:30 AM in the Hayloft Sanctuary. Pastor Brad Moger will be leading this time of simple worship & sharing of personal stories of Praise to God. All welcome!

This special event, The Women's Ministry Advent Brunch was held this past Saturday, December 6th. with Charlotte Colmery speaking on "God Is Our Hope and Strength". This talk was a blessing to many and can be listened to on this site.

On October 3rd, 2008, Covenant Presbyterian Church was dismissed from the PCUSA.  We are now a member of the New Wineskins Presbytery of The Evangelical Presbyterian Church.  At a Special Meeting of the Congregation on Sunday, October 5, 2008, the Congregation voted to extend a call to the Rev. Sean C. Martin to be our Senior Pastor and a call to Brad Moger to be our Associate Pastor for Youth Ministries.  We praise God for His faithfulness through this process!    

A Special Congregational Mtg. was held on September 7th. The congregation unanimously approved the merger of the old corporation with the new corporation (Covenant Presbyterian Church of Simsbury, Inc.).  This was a very important step in our process to be dismissed from the PCUSA & Presby' of Southern New England to the New Wineskins Presbytery of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Registration forms may be printed here and are also available at the church entryway, from Guest Central in the Sanctuary and in the back of Celebration Hall. There are many opportunities to serve and to be involved in this all-church ministry.
