Missions

Missions

The purpose of the Missions Committee is to provide leadership in mobilizing the resources of Covenant Presbyterian Church to prepare and / or send out those who go forth in fulfillment of "The Great Commission".

Matthew 28:18-20 - 'And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.'

Donate to Relief Efforts

If you would like to respond to the recent crises in Myanmmar and China with personal donations, the Missions Committee recommends the following organizations: Samaritan's Purse and World Vision.

Please continue to uphold these areas and ministries in prayer.

Baby Bottle Drive

05/11/2008 - 12:00am

Our Baby Bottle Drive sponsored by the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Unionville ends this Sunday, Father's Day (June 15th).

The Barn has supported the work of the CPC for many years and this year the Missions Committee has chosen to join in this fundraiser. Fill them up with coins, bills or any form of donation and return them to the church. This is a great way for the whole family to be working for "Life" in the Farmington Valley.

Mission Trip To Peru

The Missions Committee wants the congregation to be aware of an opportunity to go to Peru this summer with a team from Adventures in Missions for a short-term project working with the Cooleys & Deb White. This is very short notice, but if you are interested and available, please contact Jeff Moger ASAP - jpmoger [at] sbcglobal [dot] net.
