On Sunday, October 26, from 6:30-8:30 PM we hosted an Open House for representatives from the Department of Children and Families in Celebration Hall. A number of people from The Barn & the greater community came to learn how we can become a community supporting foster families and caring for children... one child at a time.
We'll Host Simsbury Community Band's Fall Concert on November 23rd

On Sunday, November 23rd, at 3 PM the Simsbury Community Band will present its Fall Concert, Of Thee I Sing, in Celebration Hall. It will feature some of America's greatest composers: Copland, Berlin, Sousa, Cohan & more.

We believe, unreservedly, that in Jesus's name the people of Connecticut (and Massachusetts) can reverse same-sex marriage and transform our "politics as usual" for the glory of God, and the delight of the poor, the oppressed, and all truth seekers.
We are in a new Denomination!
On October 3rd, 2008, Covenant Presbyterian Church was dismissed from the PCUSA. We are now a member of the New Wineskins Presbytery of The Evangelical Presbyterian Church. At a Special Meeting of the Congregation on Sunday, October 5, 2008, the Congregation voted to extend a call to the Rev. Sean C. Martin to be our Senior Pastor and a call to Brad Moger to be our Associate Pastor for Youth Ministries. We praise God for His faithfulness through this process!

The 10:30 AM service is held in "Celebration Hall" and is filled with contemporary praise & worship songs accompanied by live musicians. Time of personal prayer with one of our prayer team is available after the service. The Lord's Supper will be served on First Sundays.
